Description

Warm and forgiving peach pie cinnamon rolls, perfect for a cozy breakfast or a sweet finish to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup peach pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream or milk (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until warm.
  3. Add the warm milk mixture to the flour mixture.
  4. Add egg and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Let dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a rectangle.
  8. Spread peach pie filling over the surface and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
  10. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  11. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Mix powdered sugar with cream or milk for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

These are best served warm but can be stored at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerated for up to four days.
