Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped bell peppers or mushrooms


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, cooked pasta, and any optional vegetables. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
