- 6 small flour tortillas
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Cooking spray
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Mix chopped apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and chopped nuts if using.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture on each tortilla and roll them tightly into taquitos.
- Spray the taquitos with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
Notes
Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith to maintain texture. Prepare filling in advance, but roll just before cooking.
