Description

Flaky and buttery cruffins filled with chocolate chips, perfect for a quick breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of croissant dough
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Butter (for greasing the muffin tin)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Sprinkle a little sugar and place a few chocolate chips on each triangle.
  4. Roll the triangles up tightly, starting from the wide end.
  5. Place the rolled croissant dough in the muffin tin upright.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.

Notes

For a crispier exterior, you may extend the baking time by a few minutes. Store cooled cruffins in an airtight container or freeze individually.
