- 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Optional garnish: fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional garnish: lemon wedges
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined to create the marinade.
- Add chicken tenders to the bowl, tossing to coat. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add marinated chicken tenders in a single layer and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from skillet and let rest for 2 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Chicken can be marinated overnight for deeper flavor. This dish is freezer-friendly; ensure chicken cools completely before freezing.
