Description

Delicious Korean BBQ meatballs that deliver comfort and flavor in a simple package.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and minced garlic.
  3. Add breadcrumbs, egg, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter.
  5. Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Once baked, drizzle extra gochujang sauce on top and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef if desired. Serve with rice or stir-fried vegetables.
