- 1 cup Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 4 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat skillet over medium heat and grease lightly with butter or oil.
- In one bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Combine both mixtures and let rest for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup portions of batter onto the skillet and pipe the cinnamon mixture on top using a squeeze bottle.
- Use a toothpick to create a swirl design.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- For the glaze, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth.
- Serve pancakes warm, drizzled with cream cheese glaze.
Notes
Pancakes are best enjoyed fresh, but the batter can be prepared the night before. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
