Description

Delicious and easy-to-make cheesy bites that are perfect for a quick snack or a delightful side dish.


Ingredients

  • Mozzarella cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Breadcrumbs, plain or seasoned
  • Eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or a light spray of cooking oil
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut mozzarella cheese into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs.
  5. Dip each mozzarella cube in the eggs, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place the coated cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to add garlic powder or Italian herbs to the breadcrumbs for extra flavor. These bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
